About the position

The Compensation Analyst role at Legacy Community Health is focused on supporting the compensation function within the organization. This includes drafting documentation and procedures for pay practices and incentive plans, managing the job description library, and conducting market analysis to ensure competitive compensation practices. The analyst will collaborate with HR leaders to create new positions and implement reporting and audit processes to enhance compensation administration.

Responsibilities

  • Draft documentation and procedures to support pay practices and incentive plans.
  • Manage compiled procedures and support HR team and leaders to effectively administer programs and procedures.
  • Manage Legacy Job Description Library, working with leaders and HR colleagues to draft, update, and sunset job descriptions.
  • Review and update the job description template at least annually and in the event of organizational changes.
  • Ensure that a job description exists for each active role.
  • Enter approved salary and job codes into HRIS system and update job titles as needed.
  • Collaborate with HR Shared Services and Payroll Teams to make broad-based changes to compensation practices.
  • Support market pricing process for new and updated positions, evaluating survey market data and matching it to Legacy positions.
  • Analyze existing or proposed pay ranges and employee average pay against compiled market data.
  • Develop and present recommendations for pay range and/or employee pay rate changes, including projected costing.
  • Participate in salary surveys as requested.
  • Create and manage compensation tools, reports, and data.
  • Develop and implement approved audit processes and present results regularly to Director and HR Leadership.
  • Collaborate with Director and HR team to close gaps in understanding and implementation of compensation programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Five (5) years of previous experience in compensation analysis is required.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skill set required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification preferred.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credentials preferred.
