About the position

SIG SAUER, Inc. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Compensation Analyst to join our HR team at our Corporate Headquarters in Newington, New Hampshire. This full-time onsite role is crucial for analyzing and managing compensation programs to ensure they are competitive, fair, and aligned with the company's strategic goals. The Compensation Analyst will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing various compensation programs, including base pay, incentives, bonus and sales plans, equity plans, and other compensation elements. This role requires a strong understanding of compensation practices and principles, as well as the ability to conduct market pricing and benchmarking studies to ensure our compensation packages remain competitive within the industry and region. In this position, the Compensation Analyst will analyze compensation data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to HR leadership and management teams. They will conduct job evaluations, create and maintain job descriptions, and ensure roles are properly classified and compensated. Compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies, is essential. The analyst will utilize UKG/HRIS technology to manage compensation processes, including data input, reporting, and analysis, and will provide support and training to HR team members on these tools as needed. The role also involves coordinating the annual salary review process and bonus process, including merit increases, promotions, and adjustments, in collaboration with HR and department leaders. The Compensation Analyst will generate and analyze compensation reports to support decision-making, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Additionally, they will partner with HR Business Partners, Finance, and departmental leaders to ensure compensation strategies support business objectives and employee retention. Miscellaneous duties may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze compensation data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to HR leadership and management teams.
  • Conduct job evaluations and maintain job descriptions to ensure proper classification and compensation of roles.
  • Participate in salary surveys as required to gather market data.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding compensation practices.
  • Utilize UKG/HRIS technology to manage compensation processes, including data input, reporting, and analysis.
  • Provide support and training to HR team members on UKG/HRIS compensation tools as needed.
  • Coordinate the annual salary review and bonus processes, including merit increases, promotions, and adjustments.
  • Generate and analyze compensation reports to support decision-making and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-7 years of experience in compensation analysis or a related HR role.
  • Proficiency in compensation tools, MS Office products, and HRIS systems.
  • Strong understanding of compensation principles, market pricing, job evaluation methods, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions in a timely manner.

Nice-to-haves

  • CCP, CMS, GRP or similar certification preferred.
