Responsibilities

  • Analyze internal and external compensation data to ensure competitive pay practices.
  • Assist in designing salary structures, job classifications, and incentive programs.
  • Conduct regular market surveys and benchmarking studies to assess the competitive landscape.
  • Perform job evaluations to determine appropriate functional roles and salary grades.
  • Ensure compensation programs comply with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Support the administration of compensation systems, ensuring data accuracy and effective communication.
  • Collaborate with HR, Contracts, Talent Acquisition, and Operations to develop compensation strategies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 12 years of relevant experience in compensation analysis or related field.
  • Proficiency in Human Resource Information Systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • In-depth knowledge of compensation laws and regulations (e.g., FLSA, Equal Pay Act).

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or human resources (or a related field) preferred.
  • 6 years of relevant experience managing a corporate compensation system for a large- or medium-sized defense consultancy.
