About the position

The Compensation Analyst position at Louisiana State University is an entry-level role within the Office of Human Resource Management. The analyst will engage in various tasks such as market research, data analysis, and system support to ensure data integrity and compliance with policies.

Responsibilities

  • Perform research, analysis, review and approval of personnel actions related to compensation, ensuring compliance with policies and guidelines.
  • Assist with Workday testing, troubleshooting errors, and data cleanup within the system.
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking surveys to support compensation consultants.
  • Assist in the development and presentation of compensation training curriculum and resources.
  • Complete various special projects including Board reporting and grant proposal reviews.

Requirements

  • Some HR related experience is required.
  • Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience in Workday or comparable HCM system is preferred.
