About the position

The Compensation Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and managing compensation programs to ensure they are competitive, fair, and aligned with the company's strategic goals. This role requires a strong understanding of compensation practices and principles, and involves collaboration with HR leadership and management teams to provide insights and recommendations based on compensation data and trends.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage compensation programs, including base pay, incentives, bonus and sales plans, and equity plans.
  • Conduct market pricing and benchmarking studies to ensure competitive compensation packages.
  • Analyze compensation data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to HR leadership.
  • Conduct job evaluations and maintain job descriptions for proper classification and compensation.
  • Participate in salary surveys as required.
  • Ensure compliance of compensation practices with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Utilize UKG/HRIS technology for managing compensation processes, including data input and reporting.
  • Provide support and training to HR team members on UKG/HRIS compensation tools.
  • Coordinate the annual salary review and bonus process in collaboration with HR and department leaders.
  • Generate and analyze compensation reports to support decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 3-7 years of experience in compensation analysis or a related HR role.
  • Proficiency in compensation tools, MS Office products, and HRIS systems.
  • Strong understanding of compensation principles, market pricing, and job evaluation methods.
  • Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.

Nice-to-haves
