About the position

The Compensation Analyst at Banesco USA will play a crucial role in the Human Capital Department by designing and implementing compensation programs that align with the company's goals and market trends. This position involves conducting job analyses, ensuring legal compliance, managing compensation processes, and supporting internal stakeholders with compensation-related initiatives. The analyst will also assist in the administration of incentive plans and participate in salary surveys to provide management with relevant compensation data.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and administer compensation structures to align with company goals and market trends.
  • Analyze new and existing positions to determine appropriate compensation levels and maintain internal equity.
  • Stay updated on wage and hour laws, advising management on compliance matters and recommending policy updates.
  • Administer annual merit and bonus processes, long-term incentive programs, and various compensation programs.
  • Participate in salary surveys, analyze market data, and prepare reports for management.
  • Provide guidance on compensation policies and collaborate with other departments on compensation-related initiatives.
  • Assist in the verification and administration of incentive plan payouts.
  • Complete annual training programs as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a similar field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in compensation analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of banking processes, operations, and policies.
