About the position

The Compensation Analyst 1 will support compensation processes across the organization, ensuring compliance and equity in pay practices while providing insights to guide HR and leadership decisions. This role involves developing and administering compensation policies, conducting data analysis, and collaborating with HR teams to address compensation-related inquiries.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and administer policies, procedures, and programs related to compensation and incentives.
  • Conduct market surveys and labor studies to monitor industry compensation trends.
  • Perform reporting and trend analysis on pay structures and incentive plans.
  • Evaluate and update job descriptions, qualifications, and classifications.
  • Establish competitive pay rates through job evaluation techniques and recommend changes as needed.
  • Stay informed on local, state, and federal laws related to compensation practices and ensure alignment with company policies and labor agreements.
  • Collaborate with HR teams to address compensation-related inquiries and initiatives.
  • Provide recommendations to managers and HR generalists on compensation matters.
  • Develop and conduct compensation training sessions for employees and managers as needed.
  • Manage executive compensation, stock option administration, and HRIS functions related to compensation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required (0 years of related experience necessary).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with a focus on compensation trends and labor market analysis.
