About the position

The Analyst, Compensation is a highly skilled individual contributor responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and administering the global compensation programs at Fresh Del Monte Produce. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all existing compensation programs are thoroughly implemented and compliant with legal regulations at local, country, and regional levels. The incumbent will serve as a consultant, guiding and collaborating with HR business partners, subject matter experts, and other business leaders to optimize compensation strategies and practices. In addition to overseeing the administration of global executive compensation, the Analyst will support special projects and key initiatives, including the preparation of materials for the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors. This position requires a proactive approach to compensation-related topics, acting as the point of contact and subject matter expert for various stakeholders. The Analyst will also be responsible for maintaining and updating records in stock administration software, conducting compensation analyses to identify trends and forecasts, and participating in salary and labor market surveys to determine prevailing pay rates and benefits. The role demands a strong analytical capability, the ability to work collaboratively across divisions, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all dealings.

Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing support on compensation related topics and serve as point of contact and subject matter expert
  • Ensure all compensation programs are legally adhered to new and existing regulations (at local, country, and regional level)
  • Ensure the global job architecture is thoroughly implemented consistently for each region
  • Help prepare documents for external reporting (including but not limited to: Form 4 filings with the Securities & Exchange Commission, quarterly financial releases, and the annual Proxy Statement)
  • Work in tandem with finance, investor relations, payroll and internal audit to ensure all stock transactions reports are properly done and documented (reconciled)
  • Support the review, design, forecasting, and ongoing administration of short-term and long-term incentive programs globally (Executive incentive programs, general incentive plan, and local sales incentive programs)
  • Administer the annual pay planning process globally by gathering the information, preparing detailed spreadsheets, and leading the collection process for global review/approval
  • Request, collect, and consolidate headcount reports globally to support the executive review process
  • Maintain and update records in the stock administration software - E*TRADE
  • Support the administration of global mobility and maintain records of the expatriate population
  • Conduct compensation analyses to identify headcount changes, compensation trends, and incentive forecasts
  • Seek innovative solutions and best practices that can be easily implemented at very minimal to no cost and that can improve employee experience
  • Participate in salary and labor market surveys to determine prevailing pay rates and benefits
  • In conjunction with the SVP - Chief HR Officer and the Director - Global Total Rewards, support the regional HR Business Partners with key region/global HR initiatives and special projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a related field (Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or any other related)
  • 2 to 4 years of previous experience administering compensation programs
  • Strong analytical capabilities, familiarity with broader underlying concepts, and ability to communicate with business partners to resolve complex problems and recommend or produce best solutions for their client
  • Analytical and quantitative skills and a track record for planning, doing, and auditing work
  • Ability to work as a team player and influence cross divisional teams
  • High proficiency in MS office (i.e. Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook, etc.)
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Speaking other languages (in addition to English) is a plus
