About the position

The Compensation Analyst will play a crucial role in analyzing and managing compensation programs to ensure they are competitive, fair, and aligned with the company's strategic goals. This position requires a strong understanding of compensation practices and principles, as well as the ability to conduct market pricing studies and analyze compensation data to provide insights and recommendations to HR leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage compensation programs including base pay, incentives, bonus and sales plans, and equity plans.
  • Conduct market pricing and benchmarking studies to ensure competitive compensation packages.
  • Analyze compensation data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to HR leadership.
  • Conduct job evaluations and maintain job descriptions to ensure proper classification and compensation of roles.
  • Participate in salary surveys as required.
  • Ensure compensation practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations and company policies.
  • Utilize UKG/HRIS technology to manage compensation processes, including data input, reporting, and analysis.
  • Coordinate the annual salary review and bonus process, including merit increases and promotions.
  • Generate and analyze compensation reports to support decision-making and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners, Finance, and departmental leaders to align compensation strategies with business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Three (3) to seven (7) years of experience in multi-state compensation analysis
  • Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions in a timely manner
  • Proficiency in compensation tools, MS Office products, and HRIS systems
  • Strong understanding of compensation principles, market pricing, job evaluation methods, and compliance requirements
  • Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work

Nice-to-haves

  • CCP, CMS, GRP or similar certification preferred
