About the position

The Compensation Analyst at Catapult Executive Consulting plays a crucial role in providing compensation consulting services to clients. This position involves building strong client relationships, conducting data analysis, and delivering insights to help clients achieve their strategic compensation objectives. The role requires a blend of analytical skills, client service orientation, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Compensation Practice Leader to create trusting, collaborative relationships with clients.
  • Participate in needs assessment and client discovery calls to understand client needs.
  • Lead job matching sessions with clients to ensure appropriate content matches are chosen at the appropriate levels.
  • Pull relevant market data and combine it with client data to analyze results.
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of data to generate reports, insights, and benchmarks for clients.
  • Conduct complex analytical tasks related to competitive compensation reviews and creation of pay structures.
  • Assist with creating client proposals, drafting presentations, and summarizing data analysis into client-friendly formats.
  • Act as the day-to-day contact for clients regarding data sharing and ad-hoc requests.
  • Manage workstreams of client projects and ensure delivery of high-quality work on time and on budget.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, including significant coursework in finance, economics, statistics, or human resources.
  • 2-5 years of relevant working experience in Human Resources, particularly in compensation, benefits, or HRIS analytics.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen and solid analytical and statistical skills, both qualitative and quantitative.
  • Highly proficient with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in compensation consulting or related fields.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and analytics.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work independently.
