About the position

The Compensation Analyst at Community Memorial Healthcare is responsible for ensuring pay competitiveness within the organization. This role involves reviewing salary changes, maintaining internal equity, and conducting market analysis to support recruitment and retention efforts. The analyst will also participate in compensation surveys and ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and affirmative action programs.

Responsibilities

  • Review salary changes and contingent offers to maintain internal equity.
  • Research and recommend salary grades for new positions and develop job descriptions.
  • Handle inquiries regarding salary changes and provide recommendations for adjustments.
  • Participate in industry-wide compensation surveys as required.
  • Manage annual increase cycles for staff and management, performing detailed market analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity programs in compensation practices.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree
  • Minimum of three years of experience in compensation analysis
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including Vlookups and Pivot Tables
  • Proficient in MS Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Thorough knowledge of California and Federal labor laws
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently under competing deadlines.

  • Previous healthcare compensation experience
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
  • Current Human Resources certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP)
