About the position

The Compensation Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the HR team at MarketAxess by managing compensation analytics, planning, administration, and implementation of compensation structures. This position involves collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance the company's compensation framework, ensuring equity and governance across a global workforce of 950 employees.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare materials for the Compensation and Talent Committee of the Board of Directors in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Assist in preparing exhibits for the Compensation, Discussion and Analysis section of the annual Proxy Statement.
  • Assist in compensation-related budget processes, including annual salary increases and incentive forecasting.
  • Perform pay equity and job leveling analyses to ensure pay and title governance.
  • Facilitate the annual year-end compensation processes, including production of compensation statements for global employees.
  • Leverage Excel-based tools to evaluate and report on the quantitative performance of the global sales organization.
  • Form consultative partnerships with managerial staff and HR colleagues.
  • Prepare materials for and partner with audit colleagues regularly.
  • Partner with the Global Head of Compensation to develop and implement new processes and tool enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
  • Excellent analytical skills and exceptional proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables and v-lookups.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain and protect confidential data and sensitive information.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in compensation analysis or HR analytics.
  • Familiarity with compensation benchmarking tools and methodologies.
