The Compensation Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the compensation functions within the organization. This position is a 3-month contract based in Cambridge, MA, and involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring effective compensation planning and management. The analyst will assist the recruiting team with compensation offers, providing essential support to ensure that offers are competitive and aligned with market data and internal equity. This role requires collaboration with HR business partners to address pay-related inquiries, utilizing market data to inform decisions and maintain fairness in compensation practices. In addition to general support, the Compensation Analyst will be responsible for preparing and administering the year-end compensation planning cycle. This includes conducting systems testing and support, managing communications, establishing timelines, setting budgets, and fielding questions from stakeholders. The analyst will also provide in-depth analysis to support business decisions, particularly in relation to the 2015 payout matrix, which will help determine total compensation for employees. Another key aspect of this role involves partnering with the Head of Compensation to develop communication plans and materials regarding changes to total compensation. This includes updates on bonus target changes and shifts in the Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program to include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The analyst will assist in preparing communication materials that explain these changes to employees, ensuring clarity and transparency in the compensation program. The role also entails reviewing jobs and titles to ensure consistent formatting across the organization, as well as developing career ladders when time permits. The Compensation Analyst will be expected to handle other tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to support the broader HR team.
