About the position

The Compensation Analyst position is a critical role within our organization, focusing on the development and maintenance of our job architecture framework. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong analytical mindset to gather, analyze, and interpret compensation data. The primary goal is to ensure that our compensation structures are competitive and aligned with industry standards. As a Compensation Analyst, you will work closely with various stakeholders, including HR, management, and other departments, to drive compensation strategies that align with our organizational goals. In this role, you will be responsible for data collection, job evaluation, and compensation modeling. You will analyze compensation data to identify trends and make recommendations that support our compensation philosophy. Effective communication of your findings and recommendations will be essential, as you will need to present your analysis to management and other stakeholders. This position is hybrid, requiring some days on-site in Seattle, Washington, and some days remote, allowing for flexibility in your work environment. The Compensation Analyst will report directly to the internal Project Manager and will play a vital role in ensuring that our compensation practices are not only competitive but also equitable. This role is particularly suited for individuals with experience in the manufacturing industry, as it will involve understanding the specific compensation challenges and opportunities within that sector. The position is a contract role with a duration of 7 months, providing an excellent opportunity to contribute to our compensation strategies during this period.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze compensation data to ensure competitive compensation structures.
  • Conduct job evaluations to assess the value of positions within the organization.
  • Develop compensation models that align with industry standards and organizational goals.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to management and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with HR and management to drive compensation strategies.
  • Support the development of the job architecture framework.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience in compensation analysis and modeling.
  • Proficiency in Peoplesoft or similar HRIS systems.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry.
