About the position

The Compensation Analyst role is a contract position focused on performing compensation analysis, commission calculations, and supporting data-driven decisions through advanced Excel techniques. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of compensation structures and commission systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed compensation analysis to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness.
• Perform commission calculations and assist with commission plan management for sales teams.
• Analyze commission structures and payouts to ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational guidelines.
• Utilize Excel for in-depth data analysis, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data modeling to support compensation and commission analysis.
• Support the development, maintenance, and improvement of compensation policies and processes.
• Collaborate with HR and finance teams to address compensation-related queries and provide insights.
• Prepare and present reports on compensation trends and insights to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in compensation analysis or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Macros).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in commission calculation and analysis is required.
• Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
• Experience with HRIS or compensation software is preferred.
• Knowledge of industry compensation trends and regulatory requirements is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
