About the position

The Compensation Analyst plays a crucial role in the Corporate Compensation team at Mohawk Industries, focusing on analyzing and displaying data to inform business decisions. This position involves conducting research and analysis related to compensation programs, collaborating with HR partners, and participating in various projects aimed at improving compensation systems and processes within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Research and prepare recommendations related to compensation analysis, planning, and strategy.
  • Collaborate and partner with HR to understand challenges related to compensation.
  • Compile, analyze, and interpret job descriptions to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
  • Compile necessary data for accurate participation in compensation surveys.
  • Assist in maintaining compensation structure and reporting in the current compensation system.
  • Provide support for compensation programs including annual increase processes, job evaluations, and multiple incentive plans.
  • Participate in special projects related to compensation, such as system implementations and salary structure analyses.
  • Assist with projects including research, planning, implementation, and cost analysis.
  • Support compensation projects from design through delivery, project planning, and developing systems and tools.
  • Provide ongoing analysis, research, and modeling of market best practices and competitive compensation programs.
  • Provide ad hoc reports, forecasts, and various analyses related to compensation.
  • Remain current on industry trends, best practices, and compliance.
  • Assist with responding and compiling information for audit requests.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 2-4 years' relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in compensation analysis, job evaluation, and/or salary administration preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and other complex formulas.
