About the position

The Compensation Analyst role at G-Research is a pivotal position within the Dallas office, focusing on developing and implementing competitive compensation strategies. As the first dedicated compensation professional on-site, the analyst will be responsible for ensuring that compensation structures are equitable and aligned with the company's business goals. This hybrid role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment while contributing to the growth of the compensation function within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and compensation analysis to ensure competitive pay structures.
  • Analyze internal compensation data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Own the bonus pool modelling process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business performance.
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive market intelligence database for compensation trends.
  • Participate in salary surveys and analyze data to benchmark positions against the market.
  • Manage deferred compensation programs and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for compensation-related inquiries in the Dallas office.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills to create models and data visualizations for strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain compensation dashboards for real-time access to key metrics.
  • Assist in automating compensation processes to improve efficiency.

Requirements

  • 3-8 years of experience in compensation analysis or a related field.
  • Experience with market pricing, job evaluations, and salary benchmarking is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid environment while collaborating with global teams.
  • Strong communication skills to interface with senior leadership.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a commitment to continuous learning.
