About the position

The Compensation Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the design, analysis, and administration of AdventHealth's compensation programs. This position ensures that compensation practices align with business strategies, maintain external competitiveness, and uphold internal equity. The analyst will be involved in job evaluations, pay structure design, and compensation surveys, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the organization's compensation policies.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design, analysis, and administration of compensation programs including base pay and incentive pay.
  • Communicate pay structure design, pay grades, and pay decisions in alignment with compensation policy.
  • Perform job evaluations and maintain job descriptions and job architecture for assigned markets.
  • Participate in compensation survey processes and conduct market competitiveness research.
  • Complete compensation-related transactions and ensure service level agreement (SLA) targets are met.
  • Conduct job pricing and formulate recommendations for pay grade placement.
  • Review requests for new or revised classifications to determine job exemption status according to FLSA regulations.
  • Educate and communicate with HRBP's and leaders regarding job architecture integrity.
  • Conduct data audits to optimize business processes and eliminate administrative variation.
  • Administer job description processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with annual market adjustment processes and analyze impacts of new programs or changes.
  • Audit and analyze pay changes and trends to ensure compliance with policies.
  • Serve as an information source regarding pay practices and provide advice to leadership on compensation decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1 year experience in Compensation, HR, or Finance

  • Online survey library experience
  • Human Capital Management (HCM) experience
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
