The role requires collaboration with HR Managers to provide compensation consulting and conduct market pricing through job matching. The individual will support various compensation cycles, including promotions, off-cycle compensation activities, and both short-term and long-term incentives. This includes using published surveys or conducting ad hoc surveys to obtain and analyze market pricing data, making recommendations on appropriate grade levels, and reviewing recommendations for internal equity. Additionally, the role entails preparing reports on findings and managing the administrative steps necessary to formalize recommendations. The individual will maintain a compensation database and prepare annual bonus plan accrual amounts for the Finance department. They will also review new positions in anticipation of recruitment to ensure appropriate classification and, when necessary, modify or create new job descriptions that accurately reflect current roles, responsibilities, and requirements. The position oversees the job reclassification and reorganization processes to ensure that pay aligns with the Compensation Policy and guidelines, making recommendations to management as needed. Staying updated on federal and state laws, rules, and regulations is crucial to assist in ensuring company compliance. The individual will also conduct meetings and training sessions with managers, supervisors, and employees to communicate total rewards policies and programs effectively.
