If you excel in technology and analysis, this opportunity is for you! The Compensation Analyst will focus on planning, administration, and implementation of job evaluation and wage and salary programs and will assist with payroll processing. This role is crucial in ensuring that our compensation policies are competitive and compliant with all relevant laws and regulations. As a Compensation Analyst, you will be responsible for researching compensation policies and plans to ensure that the organization's offerings are current, cost-effective, and competitive. You will use data and cost analyses to compare compensation plans and evaluate position descriptions to determine a person's classification and salary. Conducting market survey research to determine compensation trends and engaging in equity studies will also be part of your responsibilities. You will collaborate with the Head of HR and department supervisors to perform job evaluations and design and prepare reports summarizing your research and analysis, presenting recommendations to the Head of HR and executives. Additionally, you will ensure that the organization's pay practices comply with federal and state laws and regulations, such as workers' compensation, minimum wage, overtime, and equal pay laws. Reviewing, analyzing, and verifying payroll reports and documents for accuracy will be essential to your role, ensuring that all compensation-related processes are handled with precision and care.

Responsibilities

  • Research compensation policies and plans to ensure the organizations offerings are current, cost effective, and competitive
  • Use data and cost analyses to compare compensation plans

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in compensation and payroll processing is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in business or Mathematics preferred
  • Experience providing compliance/policy/procedure support in a corporate setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel is required.
