About the position

The Compensation Analyst at Fox Rothschild LLP plays a crucial role in the Talent Management Department, focusing on the development, administration, and communication of competitive and legally compliant compensation policies and programs. This position involves conducting job evaluations, participating in compensation surveys, advising management on compliance issues, and assisting with the annual compensation review process. The analyst will also collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate job descriptions and monitor the effectiveness of compensation policies.

Responsibilities

  • Perform job evaluations and recommend appropriate pay actions.
  • Organize compensation surveys to support the Firm's business objectives.
  • Conduct comprehensive survey data analytics to market price positions accurately.
  • Advise management on FLSA, EEO classifications, and compliance issues.
  • Assist with the annual compensation review process, including compiling market data and creating compensation materials.
  • Advise supervisors on final compensation processes and coordinate HRIS/payroll actions.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of existing compensation policies and recommend changes.
  • Collaborate with HR and management to update job descriptions accurately.
  • Participate in the configuration and implementation of UKGPro Compensation module.
  • Analyze compensation levels to identify potential inequities.
  • Work with HR to address compensation-related issues.
  • Evaluate market trends to recommend adjustments to compensation policies.
  • Stay updated on compensation laws and regulations.
  • Identify industry changes and recommend enhancements.
  • Make recommendations to streamline related processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or human resources or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of human resources and/or compensation related experience, preferably in a law firm.
  • Proven analytical, mathematical/statistical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of current Federal, State, and local compensation laws and regulations.
  • Strong understanding of compensation practices and trends.
  • Experience in supporting day-to-day compensation functions.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Word, with the ability to manipulate data from HRIS.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Customer service orientation and a positive attitude.
