About the position

Real Chemistry is looking for a Compensation Analyst to join our growing team. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the planning, implementation, and administration of our Compensation programs. The role is based out of our Chicago office, and candidates in the Chicago area with flexibility to work from the office 2 days per week will be prioritized. As a Compensation Analyst, you will work with a collaborative global HR Team and contribute to our continued growth.

Responsibilities

  • Support job architecture project to ensure alignment of job levels, compensation, and titles across the company.
  • Conduct benchmarking of new and existing roles using market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges.
  • Create submissions for salary survey participation.
  • Ensure compensation compliance with Federal and State regulations.
  • Lead annual/merit compensation cycle process.
  • Partner with internal People Business Partners, finance, accounting and other internal stakeholders on compensation matters related to compliance, new roles, promotions, other job changes.
  • Project manage compensation-related initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Lead the creation and implementation of compensation reporting practices in Workday, customized for specific business areas.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a Compensation or Compensation-related role.
  • Advanced expertise in Excel and database analysis.
  • Experience with Workday and hands-on experience with the compensation modules.
  • Experience in developing data visualizations and customized dashboards using BI software tools, preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor communications to different audiences.
