Breeze Airways is hiring a Compensation Analyst, reporting to the Manager of Total Rewards. This team member will provide analytical support in designing and managing Breeze's compensation programs. This role will support the design, implementation, and maintenance of compensation structures. This individual will assist with daily Compensation operational needs, address Team Member and Leader questions, and provide backup support on Benefits and HRIS projects. The desired candidate will have experience finding creative solutions to challenging compensation issues. This person is an analytical thinker with a people-first mentality. Here's what you'll do: Support the administration of compensation programs including, base pay, incentives and other reward programs. Support the design, implementation, and administration of base and variable pay programs. Assist with annual compensation process including merit and performance review. Participate in salary surveys and conduct thorough market research to benchmark compensation and benefits against industry standards and competitors. Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity, efficient workflows, and promote a seamless and integrated experience for Team Members. Support inquiries, concerns, and issues related to compensation programs. Participate in the development of compensation communications, including training, manager compensation training, compensation statements, and other materials. Support vendor management activities, including invoices, audits, and other tasks as needed. Assist with the annual benefits renewal and open enrollment process. Assist in conducting routine compliance reporting (i.e. 5500s, 401K audit, etc.). Prioritize short and long-term needs in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Demonstrate exceptional judgment and discretion when dealing with extremely sensitive people data and business issues. Remain up-to-date and take initiative with trends within and outside the airline industry to identify and adapt changes to current processes to minimize and/or avoid exposure to potential risks. Encourage ideation, innovation, and collaboration among the team. Achieve performance measures and adhere to established standards in conjunction with Breeze Aviation Group Values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in People (human resources) or Administration role
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field required or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Experience working across Payroll/HCM and Compensation systems (Workday and PayFactors experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of job classification, FLSA and wage & hour laws.
  • Skill and experience providing excellent service in a multi-function environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of People (human resource) laws, various state regulations and best practices.

Nice-to-haves

  • 4 years of progressive benefit and compensation experience.
  • Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Human Capital Institute (HCI) membership and participation or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP).
  • Experience with airlines or other transportation industry organizations.
