About the position

Angi is seeking a Compensation Analyst to join our People Ops team in Denver, CO. This hybrid role is pivotal in supporting our compensation strategies and will provide opportunities to engage with other functions within the People Ops team, including People Analytics and HRIS. As a Compensation Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our annual compensation review cycles, which involve analyzing compensation data and making recommendations regarding merit increases, market adjustments, promotions, and incentive payouts. Your contributions will be essential in maintaining the integrity of our data management processes, ensuring that we can effectively track various compensation programs. In this role, you will be responsible for ongoing reporting and dashboarding for the broader People team and business leaders, aiding in critical and strategic decision-making. Upholding data integrity is paramount; therefore, you will conduct regular internal audits within Angi's HRIS to validate the consistency and accuracy of our people data. Additionally, you will participate in the development and administration of our compensation programs through regular benchmarking and market data analysis, providing valuable recommendations for our compensation strategies as we continue to scale our services. This position is ideal for someone with a strong analytical background and a passion for data-driven decision-making. Responsibilities

  • Analyze compensation data and make recommendations for merit increases, market adjustments, promotions, and incentive payouts during annual compensation review cycles.
  • Manage data integrity for the People Ops team to track various compensation programs.
  • Support ongoing reporting and dashboarding for the People team and business leaders to aid in strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct regular internal audits within Angi's HRIS to ensure consistency and accuracy of people data.
  • Participate in the development and administration of compensation programs through benchmarking and market data analysis.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of compensation experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Human Resources, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate insights from data.
  • Proficient in Excel, including the use of formulas and pivot tables.
  • Experience with UKG BI is preferred; basic report writing in UKG BI is a plus.
  • Self-driven with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally on projects tied to key business objectives.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with HRIS systems beyond UKG BI.
  • Familiarity with compensation benchmarking tools and methodologies.
