It's an exciting time to join MoFo as the Compensation Analyst! Under the direction of the Senior Compensation Manager, the Compensation Analyst plays a key role in attracting and retaining top talent by participating in the design, communication, and efficient administration of our total rewards programs for attorneys and staff members globally. Additionally, helps to ensure that our compensation programs are aligned with business objectives, market competitive, cost effective and focused on enhanced organizational capability. Using a data driven philosophy, assists with managing the ongoing development, assessment and administration of compensation programs and structures. Maintains policies and procedures and confirms governmental compliance. Continuously researches, monitors and analyzes pay practices in applicable geographies to ensure the market competitiveness of our programs. Completes selected surveys and collects benchmarking data sources. Actively participates in the development and execution of compensation processes such as annual merit & bonus reviews, budgeting, uploading salary and bonus data to Workday, auditing, etc. Assists job evaluations and job leveling. Participates in the development of compensation communication materials and trainings. Performs operational tasks such as compiling and presenting market and equity data to determine compensation transactions, including internal/external offers, counter offers, promotions, and market adjustments. Drafts employment documentation of compensation changes and uploads to HRIS employment files.

Responsibilities

  • Upload salary and bonus data to Workday and perform auditing tasks.
  • Assist with job evaluations and job leveling.
  • Develop compensation communication materials and trainings.
  • Compile and present market and equity data for compensation transactions.
  • Draft employment documentation of compensation changes and upload to HRIS employment files.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in compensation analysis, design, and administration with increasing responsibility.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • CCP certification is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of compensation/employment laws.
  • Knowledge of EU and Asia compensation practices is a plus.
  • Demonstrated passion for the profession with outstanding analytical skills, sound judgment, and solid project management skills.
  • Strong technology skills, including Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with data modeling programs such as Power Query and Power Pivot is a plus.
  • Experience in a professional services/law firm environment is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Workday is preferred.
