About the position

The Compensation Analyst will lead programs and projects within the Compensation Center of Excellence (COE) at Charter Manufacturing. This role focuses on developing innovative solutions based on analytical research to enhance compensation programs, ensuring they are market-driven and cost-effective. The analyst will partner with managers and HR to align compensation practices with business strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead programs and projects for the organization within the Compensation COE.
  • Develop recommendations and innovative approaches based on analytical research to enhance compensation programs.
  • Partner with managers and HR to ensure market-driven and cost-effective compensation offerings.
  • Oversee annual incentive delivery activities including participant communication and education.
  • Engage in Workday (HCM) compensation system enhancements with the HRIS team.
  • Lead survey participation and reporting activities.
  • Conduct market pricing of jobs and implement grading decisions.
  • Develop, track, and report on metrics measuring overall program performance.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of compensation education for HR and business leaders.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and address needed corrections.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources Management, or related field.
  • Five plus years' experience in human resources, business, or finance/accounting.
  • High proficiency with advanced features of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, attention to detail, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interpret data from multiple sources and report findings.
  • Familiarity with compensation-related legal requirements, including FLSA.
  • Experience with HCM systems and ability to run and analyze reports.
  • Ability to communicate and present effectively to various audiences.
  • Experience in supporting, leading, and implementing process improvements.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation or SHRM-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).
  • Five plus years' experience in compensation administration.
  • Experience facilitating and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Working knowledge of benefits and HRIS platforms.
  • Prior experience with Workday HRIS.
