About the position

The Compensation Analyst plays a crucial role in providing analytical and professional-level support focused on comprehensive compensation data compilation, tracking, independent analysis, and reporting. This position is essential for administering compensation programs and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure effective compensation management within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Administers compensation programs, including sales compensation calculations and recognition programs
• Participates in testing and evaluation of HRIS system upgrades
• Responds to questions regarding compensation administration
• Collaborates with Managers and HR to create and update job descriptions and set up workflow for approval
• Evaluates job roles and prepares compensation offers
• Supports survey participation and conducts analysis/reporting using a market pricing tool
• Performs straightforward analytical requests

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
• 2+ years of relevant work experience in a role requiring strong analytical skills (e.g., compensation or other HR area, finance, accounting, audit)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including moderately complex Excel functions such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP
• Customer-focused, team-oriented, and results-driven
• Willingness to learn and develop expertise in compensation

Nice-to-haves

• 1+ year of relevant work experience in a corporate position within a mid-to-large size company
• Experience with Workday
• Experience with Payfactors
