ScionHealth is seeking a dedicated Compensation and Benefits Analyst to join our team in Brentwood, Tennessee. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our compensation and benefits programs are not only compliant but also competitive and aligned with our organizational goals. The Compensation and Benefits Analyst will be responsible for researching complex benefit plan issues, participating in policy reviews, and implementing programs that enhance our employee offerings. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a strategic mindset to address various compensation-related challenges effectively. In this role, the analyst will conduct thorough audits of benefit eligibility and compliance, ensuring that all policies meet state and local requirements. The analyst will also collaborate closely with the HRIS team to resolve any system issues related to benefit administration. A significant part of the job involves evaluating and developing salary administration programs by researching market trends and participating in salary surveys. The analyst will assist in administering annual merit increase processes, ensuring that our compensation strategies remain competitive in the healthcare industry. The Compensation and Benefits Analyst will also be responsible for reviewing job descriptions and providing feedback on salary range recommendations and exemption status assignments. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying process improvements and developing procedures to implement these enhancements effectively. The analyst will play a crucial role in maintaining compliance with FLSA and minimum wage updates, ensuring that our compensation practices are fair and equitable for all employees.

Responsibilities

  • Research complex benefit plan issues and determine appropriate actions.
  • Address matters related to time off, including research, issue resolution, and policy development.
  • Audit eligibility and compliance for time off policies, including state and local requirements.
  • Participate in and coordinate program implementations and enhancements.
  • Identify process improvements and develop procedures for implementation.
  • Review and evaluate job descriptions, providing feedback on salary range and exemption status assignments.
  • Manage ongoing system and administrative changes for minimum wage updates and job code maintenance.
  • Audit incumbent data to ensure compliance with FLSA and minimum wage updates.
  • Participate in the submission of complex salary surveys within established time frames.
  • Assist with salary survey analysis to determine if specific positions should be reviewed or salary structures updated.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience/education combination.
  • 3-5 years of benefit/compensation administration experience, including system and/or data analysis.
  • Professional certification preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Basic knowledge of FLSA, Title VII, Wage and Hour, and EEOC regulations.
