About the position

The Compensation and Benefits Analyst at Tropicale Foods, Inc. plays a crucial role in supporting the company's strategic initiatives by contributing to the development and maintenance of total rewards programs. This position involves collaboration with various departments, including People Operations, Finance, and Accounting, to ensure effective compensation and benefits management. The analyst will provide analytical support, conduct job analyses, manage complex projects, and ensure compliance with regulations, all while fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide detailed analytical support to HR Leadership, including research, ad hoc analysis of data and reporting, tracking metrics and recommendations.
  • Perform analysis on compensation, report findings, and make recommendations.
  • Interface with the People Ops team to ensure timely delivery of compensation program elements.
  • Analyze organizational pay practices and recommend salary changes to maintain internal equity.
  • Conduct job analysis to determine appropriate job levels according to compensation guidelines and policy.
  • Support Total Rewards and People Operations projects as the organization grows.
  • Independently manage complex and confidential tasks, initiatives, and projects.
  • Manage the development, review, and updates to Total Rewards policies and program documentation.
  • Partner with People Ops to identify process improvement opportunities and efficiency gains.
  • Conduct audits of compensation and benefits programs to ensure compliance with contracts and service agreements.
  • Provide ad hoc analytics support to key stakeholders as needed.
  • Submit market surveys and revise job matches in response to changing market conditions.
  • Assist with compliance efforts and projects, including Open Enrollment cycle and ACA reporting.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of work experience in compensation and benefits, preferably with high growth organizations.
  • Experience in conducting market analyses and benchmarking.
  • Project coordination skills with experience in supporting the execution of initiatives.
  • Highly collaborative with the ability to work independently, while bringing a sense of urgency, process-orientation, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent research and quantitative business skills.
  • Proven experience working in a complex matrixed environment.
  • Advanced experience with MS Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and Access.
  • Knowledge of Google Applications and integration between MS and Google Apps.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and reporting tools.

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or working toward such certification preferred.
  • Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) or working toward such certification preferred.
