About the position

The Compensation and Data Analyst at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University plays a vital role in providing analytical support to the Human Resources department. This position focuses on facilitating informed decision-making regarding compensation and administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with university guidelines and regulations, and enhancing operational excellence through effective data management and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and approve fair and equitable one-time/reoccurring payments while ensuring compliance with university guidelines and regulations.
  • Perform compensation reviews to ensure alignment with university strategic goals and compliance with FLSA requirements.
  • Manage ongoing data architecture processes and governance.
  • Assist in the implementation of systems and updates, including testing and validating data.
  • Oversee the completion of salary surveys and governmental reporting, including CUPA Surveys and Affirmative Action Plan.
  • Maintain the Affirmative Action Plan and support departmental diversity efforts.
  • Extract, import, and export data in various database applications into the HRM system, Workday.
  • Conduct internal/external research and data support requests, creating reports while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Assist in the design, analysis, and update of salary structures.
  • Audit data regularly to ensure integrity and perform data reconciliation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or Data Analytics.
  • At least two years of experience in data analytics, preferably in HR or Compensation.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and various reporting and data analytics tools.
  • Understanding of state and federal compensation regulations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Workday is preferred.
  • Comfortable working in a heavily regulated environment with a focus on compliance.
