About the position

The Compensation and Equity Analyst will support the administration of Permian Resources Corporation's compensation and equity programs, ensuring they are competitive, equitable, and aligned with company goals. This role requires proactive initiative, critical thinking, and confident decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and analysis to benchmark compensation practices and ensure competitiveness.
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of salary structures, incentive programs, and other compensation-related initiatives.
  • Participate in salary surveys and analyze survey data to determine market trends.
  • Administer the company's equity compensation programs, including restricted stock awards (RSAs) and performance shares (PSUs).
  • Track and manage equity awards, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with finance, legal, and HR teams to ensure the smooth execution of equity transactions.
  • Prepare and analyze compensation and equity data for various reports, including annual compensation reviews, budget planning, and compliance audits.
  • Maintain HRIS data integrity related to compensation and equity.
  • Generate reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in compensation and equity management.
  • Assist in developing and updating compensation policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on compensation and equity-related inquiries as appropriate.
  • Conduct training sessions and informational meetings to educate employees about compensation and equity programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in compensation analysis, equity administration, or related HR roles.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a challenging environment.
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to compensation and equity.
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry is a plus.
  • CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) or CEP (Certified Equity Professional) certification preferred.
