About the position

The Compensation & Benefits Coordinator at Pattern Energy plays a crucial role in supporting the company's benefit and compensation programs. This position involves assisting with the development and implementation of total rewards initiatives, policies, and procedures to help achieve company goals. The coordinator will manage various administrative tasks related to employee benefits and compensation, ensuring effective communication and education regarding these programs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with general plan administration such as processing invoices and conducting regular plan audits.
  • Oversee the company wellness initiative and lead its implementation.
  • Recommend employee communications and collaborate with the Internal Communications team to develop a strategy.
  • Manage department content on the corporate intranet.
  • Educate and answer employee questions regarding all total rewards programs.
  • Coordinate the flow of data within department systems such as SpiraLinks, Sparrow, and ADP.
  • Conduct regular audits for accuracy in data management.
  • Assist with the annual benefits open enrollment and annual salary review and bonus administration.
  • Maintain a library of job leveling information for each position in the organization.
  • Manage Compensation and Benefits mail, responding in a timely manner and escalating issues to senior staff as needed.
  • Gather information and prepare annual surveys and additional ad hoc reports as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1-3 years HR administration experience, preferably in compensation and/or benefits
  • Strong technical, communication, and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and a high level of discretion with private data
