About the position

The Compensation Data Analyst role is a contract or contract-to-hire opportunity focused on analyzing compensation data, calculating bonuses and commissions, and improving data management processes. The position requires strong Excel skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to support compensation-related initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Calculate year-end bonuses and sales commissions accurately and efficiently.
  • Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends and patterns.
  • Develop and maintain compensation-related spreadsheets and databases.
  • Simplify existing spreadsheets and data formulas to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data.
  • Provide support for compensation-related projects and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions like formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in compensation or HR analytics is a plus.
