The Compensation Management Analyst position at the New Mexico Crime Victims Reparation Commission (CVRC) is dedicated to assisting victims of crime through the victim compensation application process. The primary mission of CVRC is to provide financial assistance to victims of violent crime for expenses incurred as a result of being victimized. This includes preparing initial correspondence to victims, entering and uploading compensation applications into the database, and assigning applications to state investigators. The analyst will also oversee the maintenance of victim files and prepare them for archiving in accordance with state regulations. Additionally, the position requires serving as a backup for the Administrative Secretary when needed and assisting staff in the daily operations of the office to ensure efficiency. Recording minutes at the monthly Commission Meeting may also be part of the responsibilities.
