About the position

The Compensation Manager at Neurocrine Biosciences is responsible for leading the total pay process and enhancing compensation programs through data insights and analytics. This role involves managing global reward programs, providing data-driven recommendations, and ensuring compliance with compensation regulations while fostering partnerships with HR business partners and leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead global reward programs, including the salary planning cycle and recognition program.
  • Provide data insights and recommendations for pay programs through compensation reporting and analytics.
  • Manage job architecture and evaluate changes based on analysis and business needs.
  • Research government legislation impacting compensation and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Create partnerships with HR business partners and leaders to address compensation-related issues.
  • Oversee salary administration processes, including managing salary survey vendors and updating market pricing software.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, HR, Finance, Economics, or a similar field.
  • 6+ years of compensation experience at a publicly traded company.
  • Master's degree or MBA is highly desired.
  • 4+ years of experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
  • 4+ years of experience with Workday, Payfactors, or similar platforms.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or similar certification is highly desired.
  • Strong analytical thinking and project management skills.
  • Understanding of compensation processes and regulations.

  • Experience in a biopharmaceutical company.
