About the position

As a Compensation and People Data Analyst at Manhattan Associates, you will play a crucial role in supporting the People Team with compensation processes and data analytics. This position involves collaborating with HR to design, develop, and implement compensation initiatives and analytical projects that enhance HR performance and drive business outcomes. You will analyze people metrics to provide insights that influence various aspects of the employee life cycle, including compensation, workforce planning, and talent acquisition. This role offers significant opportunities for impact within a global team, reporting to the Senior Compensation Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Administer the broad-based compensation program, including merit, promotion, and bonus cycles.
  • Partner in the development and communication of compensation programs and policies.
  • Maintain compensation structure and wage grades, analyzing positions using market and internal data.
  • Manage the job evaluation process and maintain job descriptions across functions.
  • Assist in the coordination of the annual performance review process.
  • Manage job families, job architecture, and job leveling in Workday.
  • Update and maintain compensation structures and submit market survey data for benchmarking.
  • Support compensation analysis for job offers and change requests.
  • Drive the use of Workday in compensation processes and improve capabilities.
  • Support other business teams with compensation data and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Compensation and/or People Analytics, preferably in the tech industry.
  • Broad knowledge of data analytics and basic statistics.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-structuring and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working in an HR function and understanding HR roles.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Workday, particularly in Compensation and/or Analytics modules.
  • Exposure to business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
