About the position

The Compensation Program Manager at EquipmentShare will serve as the analytics point person responsible for transforming the company's compensation program. This role involves partnering with leadership to analyze and guide compensation and benefit programs, ensuring they are competitive and compliant. The position requires a strong analytical background and the ability to influence key leaders in a fast-growing company.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a People Analytics compensation subject matter expert, partnering with leaders to transform the compensation program.
  • Assist with a variety of analytical-based tasks to ensure compensation practices, strategies, programs, and policies/procedures are competitive and compliant.
  • Support the development, implementation, and administration of pay structures, policies, programs, and practices including base pay, salary administration, job descriptions and evaluations, salary/market pricing analysis, and incentive or pay-for-performance programs.
  • Analyze compensation-related issues for internal equity.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in compensation with a focus on technical requirements and analyzing compensation structures and programs.
  • SQL experience required.
  • Workday experience preferred.
  • Python experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Psychology, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field.
  • Expert-level Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills.
  • Strong ability to adapt and be flexible within the scope of a given project as vision, priorities, and timelines shift.
