About the position

The Compensation Valuation Analyst at Pinnacle Healthcare Consulting will support the compensation valuation team by participating in client and internal calls, reviewing benchmark data, developing analytical models, and drafting reports. This role involves working closely with team members and reporting to a manager, director, or principal for each project, focusing on both private and public entities in the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

• Provides guidance and leadership to employees regarding daily tasks and activities
• Ability to prioritize and manage concurrent projects, demonstrating strong initiative
• Work independently with limited supervision
• Supervises employees who perform similar work or tasks
• May also perform the same work as those supervised
• May participate in performance evaluations
• Committed to staying at the cutting edge of healthcare regulations, financial best practices and ethical standards to be responsive to client needs and demands
• Meets client deadlines and expectations
• Participates in client calls - takes quick action to client complaints about an issue / practice empathy
• Actively listens to client needs to begin to identify opportunities for service expansion

Requirements

• Bachelor's / master's degree in finance, accounting, statistics or business / healthcare administration
• Minimum 1 year of physician compensation and / or valuation experience
• Confident aptitude in quantitative and qualitative analysis, and industry terminology
• Demonstrates advanced techniques to perform technical physician compensation valuations and data analysis methods / develops models independently
• Excellent analytical, project-management, communication, interpersonal, and team skills
• Translates data into client deliverable/ work product
• Independent judgment is required to complete work assignments
• Demonstrates a collaborative work style, and shares solutions to questions & problems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced excel skill set
