Competitive Gymnastics Coach

About the position

The Competitive Gymnastics Coach at STARZ Gymnastics Academy is responsible for teaching and guiding gymnasts of various ages and skill levels in a supportive and positive environment. The role emphasizes proper techniques, safety measures, and effective communication with both athletes and their parents, ensuring a high-quality gymnastics experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach and guide gymnasts of all ages and skill levels.
• Instruct gymnasts on proper techniques, form, and safety measures.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of USAG rules, deductions, etc.
• Safely and effectively manage large groups of athletes.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding skill progress and scheduling.
• Stay up to date on USAG certifications and rules/requirements.

Requirements

• Knowledge of the USAG optional and/or Xcel programs.
• Experience coaching competitive gymnastics.
• Current USA Gymnastics Safe Sport Certification and Professional Membership or willingness to obtain.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
