About the position

The Complaint Analyst I at Solventum is responsible for managing and supporting complaint handling processes for the company's products. This role involves ensuring timely and accurate closure of complaints, performing product inspections, and confirming compliance with FDA regulations and internal procedures. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze data and maintain documentation related to product complaints, contributing to the overall quality management system.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned product complaint assignments.
  • Meet daily team and individual complaint handling output goals.
  • Perform document complaint investigations to close complaints or determine the need for further analysis.
  • Process complaint events in accordance with internal and FDA regulations/International standards.
  • Monitor and track key operational data trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional groups such as Quality Engineers and Medical Complaint Investigators.
  • Conduct visual inspections and product-related complaint sample testing.
  • Maintain ownership of product-related documentation to support complaint processing.
  • Inventory and log complaint product samples.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher AND two years of combined quality/compliance experience in healthcare, medical device, and/or drug environment.
  • OR High School Diploma/GED AND six years of combined quality/compliance experience in a healthcare, medical device, and/or drug environment.
  • Ability to work within various databases and prepare documentation.
  • Ability to analyze data from various sources and familiarity with data management tools.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Self-directed and comfortable with a transactional goal structured position.
  • Highly attentive to detail.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, orally, and in writing.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in business relationships.
