About The Position

The Complex Controller is responsible for directing the financial activities of the facility, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and leading the accounting staff. This role involves analyzing performance, preparing strategic plans, and managing financial transactions to maximize the financial return of the business.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree with a focus on accounting and/or finance.
• Five years managing a financial/accounting department.
• Three years' experience in a manufacturing-related environment.
• Proven ability to analyze financial statements and identify potential problems.
• CPA preferred.
• Experience in the corrugated industry preferred.
• Experience in cash management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the financial activities of the facility by establishing and maintaining effective fiscal procedures and controls.
• Analyze performance and recommend or direct actions needed to maximize financial returns.
• Ensure accurate books and records in compliance with accounting principles and corporate policies.
• Direct the preparation and analysis of the annual strategic plan and capital plan.
• Manage the finance staff on a day-to-day basis, including financial transactions and team development.
