About the position

The Complex Director of Sales at Hilton San Francisco Union Square and Parc 55 is responsible for maximizing asset value by driving above-market topline revenues and fostering a world-class culture to attract and retain top talent. This role involves leading the group sales team, deploying impactful business strategies, and overseeing commercial strategies to enhance sales performance across various revenue streams, including rooms and banquets. The position requires strong leadership, communication, and networking skills to facilitate the delivery of Hilton's commercial operating model.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the group sales team and deploy creative business strategies to achieve annual budget and crossover targets.
  • Oversee commercial strategies for the sales team, focusing on revenue streams including rooms and banquets.
  • Set deployment, team composition, and establish a cadence of activities to drive performance.
  • Contribute to the hotel's Annual Multi-Year Strategic Intentions and Commercial Strategy in partnership with the commercial leadership team.
  • Accountable for setting and delivering the hotel's sales targets, including group rooms, banquets, catering, and transient business.
  • Ensure Business Review Guidelines and Group Pricing & Rate Quotation Strategies are in place to maximize pricing components.
  • Align sales activities with established optimal mix and contribute to accurate revenue forecasts.
  • Lead daily and weekly business review and sales strategy meetings.
  • Manage the APEX performance process with sales team members.
  • Develop and oversee sales site visit strategies and approaches.
  • Recruit and retain sales roles, leading and developing team members through performance reviews and feedback.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Three or more years in hospitality sales & marketing leadership preferred.
  • Three years of cross-functional experience in hotel management or related industry experience preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Additional/advanced degree coursework in business administration, marketing, and communications.
  • Adaptable experience with business strategy, planning, and development.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages.
  • Multiple brand experience.
  • Proficiency in Delphi FDC preferred.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $179,000 to $210,000 based on experience and location.
