About the position

Wilson Elser is seeking a Complex Litigation Attorney to join their team in San Diego, Los Angeles, or Orange County. This role is designed for motivated professionals with 2-8 years of litigation experience, particularly in general liability, personal injury, transportation, and catastrophic injury. The position offers a flexible, hybrid working arrangement and provides opportunities for career growth while working with prominent national clients and experienced professionals.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end.
• Work closely and collaborate with other attorneys and partners.
• Regular trial preparation, investigation, court appearances, mediations, and depositions.
• Communicate with clients and provide reports.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in California
• 2-7 years of defense litigation experience
• Experience with defending Personal Injury, General Liability, Catastrophic Injury, Transportation, and other civil litigation matters preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Client-facing experience preferred
• Ability to integrate into a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Legal project management experience is helpful.
