About the position

The Complex Purchasing Manager at Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace and Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista is responsible for overseeing the purchasing and receiving department, ensuring timely delivery of goods and maintaining inventory levels. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a high-volume environment while collaborating with culinary and management teams to meet hotel needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and track inventories of general merchandise items.
• Communicate with culinary and management teams regarding purchases consistent with hotel needs and specifications.
• Negotiate pricing and purchase goods to ensure timely delivery.
• Review shipments to ensure products received match orders and meet quality standards.
• Interview, train, supervise, counsel, schedule, and evaluate staff.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of leadership experience in purchasing/receiving.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Proven ability to lead and develop receiving teams in a high-volume setting.
• Background in hotels and experience supporting complex properties.
• Familiarity with purchasing systems like Coupa and/or BirchStreet.

• Experience in a luxury hotel environment.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems.
