About the position

The Complex Sales Manager at Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista and Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace is responsible for securing groups and conventions by building and maintaining relationships with customers. This hybrid role combines onsite and remote work, focusing on lead generation, market development, and business strategy to maximize revenue across both properties, which are ideal for leisure and business guests.

Responsibilities

  • Research, solicit, and generate new leads for group opportunities through database research and proactive sales efforts.
  • Represent the hotel in market segment development and foster new customer relationships while maintaining existing accounts.
  • Develop and implement business strategies by analyzing historical, current, and future hotel and market trends.
  • Engage with Hilton Worldwide Sales, Convention Bureaus, and Intermediaries to retain existing customers and secure new business for the hotel.
  • Develop and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual business plans for designated markets.
  • Maintain a current pipeline of business opportunities aligned with short- and long-term business goals.
  • Represent the hotel in customer interactions, including creating business proposals, conducting site inspections, and executing contracts.
  • Coordinate customer specifications via lead management systems, ensuring all information is up-to-date in Delphi FDC.
  • Research, solicit, and generate new business leads through proactive efforts, such as attending industry tradeshows and customer events.
  • Negotiate contracts and commission agreements with clients and intermediaries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of hotel experience in guest contact areas; previous sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel on short notice and adaptable to schedule changes.
  • Highly professional presentations and oral and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in hospitality sales or marketing.
  • Familiarity with Delphi FDC or similar lead management systems.
