About the position

The Complex Senior Sales Manager at DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Orlando - Disney Springs and Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando - International Drive Convention Center is responsible for driving sales and generating new business for large group accommodations. This role involves negotiating contracts, managing client relationships, and ensuring exceptional service delivery to meet and exceed sales goals in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the hotel representative to prospective clients requiring guest rooms, meeting spaces, and catering services.
  • Generate new business and negotiate contracts with clients for large group accommodations.
  • Respond to sales inquiries and qualify leads to secure business.
  • Prepare proposals and negotiate rates for guest rooms and meeting spaces.
  • Develop and implement sales plans to meet established revenue goals.
  • Engage in outside sales activities and entertain clients in assigned markets.
  • Attend industry tradeshows and customer events, conducting site visits for prospective clients.
  • Participate in sales meetings and business reviews, including reviews of tentative and lost business.
  • Conduct site inspections of guest rooms and banquet facilities.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with large group accommodations (generally over 50 guest rooms).
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Demonstrated attributes of quality, productivity, dependability, customer focus, and adaptability.
