About the position

The Compliance Analyst for Amazon Web Services (AWS) will drive compliance solutions and strategic projects to support AWS Infrastructure. This role involves leveraging product compliance knowledge to manage day-to-day compliance operations, scale compliance programs, and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation. The Compliance Analyst will be the first point of contact for compliance inquiries and will work closely with various teams to ensure regulatory requirements are met.

Responsibilities

• Build and implement systems and processes to align AWS products and equipment to regulatory requirements.
• Translate regulatory intelligence to business operations.
• Drive and scale infrastructure product compliance programs and tools; identify and recommend opportunities for simplification and automation.
• Daily use of custom software, maximizing its utility through an in-depth understanding of system interdependencies and how to work across various tools successfully.
• Manage compliance operations, such as intaking and analyzing product compliance issues, managing product compliance escalations, and making quick, high-judgement decisions.
• Procure, analyze, and report on operational metrics according to the rhythm of the business.
• Develop and oversee change management and continuous process improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in supply chain, marketing, or operation.
• 4+ years of direct experience with program/project management, including technical delivery.
• 4+ years of direct experience with import/export/product compliance, global logistics or supply chain.
• 4+ years' experience implementing and leveraging technology/data to drive process improvements and automation.

Nice-to-haves

• Datacenter infrastructure knowledge
• Basic data analysis skills utilizing common software such as Smartsheets, Agile, Quicksight dashboards.
