About the position

The Compliance Analyst II at Worldpay plays a crucial role in ensuring that the company adheres to regulatory requirements and compliance standards. This position involves monitoring compliance activities, providing guidance on regulatory changes, and conducting assessments to identify potential compliance deficiencies. The analyst will work closely with various stakeholders, including business units and legal counsel, to ensure that Worldpay's products and services meet applicable laws and regulations, particularly in high-risk sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Manage merchant acceptance for AMEX/Diners, Discover, and ChinaUnionPay.
  • Serve as the primary compliance relationship point for major payment networks.
  • Monitor and communicate regulatory changes impacting Worldpay's products and services.
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable laws and regulations and offer guidance on implementing changes.
  • Communicate detailed compliance requirements to lines of business and monitor their status.
  • Conduct compliance reviews and provide direction for new and expanding products and services.
  • Respond to regulatory compliance issues related to FIS products and services.
  • Perform periodic reviews to validate compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Conduct compliance assessments and address any deficiencies detected.
  • Meet regularly with business unit Compliance Officers for updates on compliance issues.
  • Track and validate product compliance deficiencies to completion.
  • Participate in compliance training and awareness sessions.
  • Prepare and approve internal and customer communications regarding compliance issues.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Compliance Analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Law, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of compliance areas such as banking regulations or anti-money laundering.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to understand technical documents.
  • Ability to plan and complete work within tight deadlines.
  • Creative problem-solving skills related to compliance issues.
  • Experience in conducting compliance monitoring programs.
