About the position

GardaWorld is the world's largest privately owned security services company, dedicated to protecting clients' staff and assets globally. We are currently seeking a Senior HR Compliance and Employee Relations Analyst to join our team in St. Louis, MO. This role is pivotal in managing all aspects of the HR Compliance Function and will report directly to the Vice President of Human Resources. As a member of the GardaWorld team, you will work alongside dedicated professionals in a dynamic environment that values diversity and equal opportunity. In this position, you will be responsible for conducting independent investigations into complex HR-related allegations, ensuring thorough fact-finding, reaching investigative conclusions, and recommending resolutions to mitigate risks to the company. You will provide consultation and guidance to HR and business partners on handling employee relations matters effectively. Additionally, you will manage internal and external HR compliance audits, compile data for regulatory reporting, and assess HR-related risks. Your role will also involve researching compliance regulations, analyzing data, and preparing comprehensive reports. You will develop and conduct training programs to educate employees on HR compliance matters and maintain regular communication with the legal office to ensure adherence to new and changing regulations. A strong understanding of critical state and federal laws, including affirmative action, EEO-1, FLSA, and FMLA, will be essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct independent investigations of highly complex HR-related allegations to fact-find, reach conclusions, and recommend resolutions.
  • Provide consultation, guidance, and coaching to HR and business partners on employee relations matters.
  • Manage internal and external HR compliance audits, compiling data for regulatory reporting and audits.
  • Work closely with internal HR partners and business leaders to address HR-related compliance issues.
  • Responsible for all HR compliance needs, including affirmative action planning, EEO-1 Reporting, and California Pay Data Reporting.
  • Research compliance regulations and policies, analyze data, and prepare reports.
  • Develop, coordinate, and conduct training programs on HR compliance-related matters.
  • Communicate regularly with the legal office to ensure compliance with new and changing regulations.
  • Develop a working knowledge of critical state and federal laws and guidelines for areas of responsibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Four or more years of experience in HR, Compliance, Employee Relations/Investigations, or a similar field.
  • Previous experience handling employee investigations and sensitive HR-related matters.
  • Excellent communication skills for interaction with customers and cross-functional teammates.
  • Previous experience with EEO-1, OEWS, and CA Pay Data reporting.
  • Organized with strong project management skills and a strategic mindset.
