About the position
The Compliance Consultant at Elevance Health is responsible for executing foundational compliance responsibilities that support the team and management at an advanced level. This role focuses on ensuring adherence to policies and procedures within the compliance team, involving tasks such as regulatory audits, compliance monitoring, and investigations.
Responsibilities
- Report, communicate, and research laws, regulations, and requirements at an advanced level.
- Provide support for regulatory audits, internal audits, accreditations, and risk assessments.
- Analyze and extract regulatory data and documentation for compliance.
- Participate in compliance monitoring to identify process gaps and validate compliance levels.
- Conduct investigations, document findings, and update stakeholders and leadership on developments.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in health care, regulatory, ethics, compliance, or privacy; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to travel may be required.
